The road to Oban.jpg

By Car

From Glasgow, take the A83 ‘Crianlarich road’ or A82 ‘Inveraray Road’. In summer the Inveraray Road is breathtaking and will feel like part of your holiday. In winter months it is best to take the lovely ‘Crianlarich road’ by Loch Lomond.  On reaching Oban continue along George Street and follow the signs for the ferry onto Albany Street. After approx. 400 yards straight on at junction and before the right hand bend keep left, then sharp right onto Crannaig-a-Mhinister continuing onto Villa Road. Go left at the T-junction towards Pulpit Hill and keep left. Summit is the last house on the right before the Viewpoint.
